The Administration module serves as the foundation for establishing and managing your company’s structure and essential data. It enables you to set up, organize, and maintain critical aspects of your business, ensuring a strong framework for smooth operations.
Currencies
Proper currency management is crucial for accurate transactions and financial reporting. This section allows you to add currencies and define exchange rates.
Adding a New Currency
To add a new currency, provide the following details:
- Code: A unique identifier for the currency (e.g., EURO).
- Name: The full name of the currency (e.g., Euro).
- Sign: The symbol representing the currency (e.g., €).
- Status: Specify whether the currency is active or inactive.
- Default: Designate a default currency for your operations. Only one default currency can be set at a time, serving as the primary currency for financial transactions and reporting.
Defining Currency Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are used to convert one currency into another for document creation and reporting.
To set up an exchange rate, specify:
- From: The source currency (e.g., Dinar).
- To: The target currency (e.g., Bulgarian Lev).
- Valid From: The start date for the exchange rate's validity.
- Valid To: The end date for the exchange rate's validity.
- Rate: The conversion value between the source and target currencies.
